Thursday's Joy of Music

Another awesome day filling in for Joy, you've got me keeping you company until the clock strikes twelve!

For the Joy of Music, brought to you by The Legacy Theater, we'll air the latest tune from Regina Spektor.  From her latest album What We Saw From the Cheap Seat, we'll hear the single "All The Row Boats."  Listen and watch the video below or follow this link.

I was introduced to Regina by my girlfriend (who's been a great source of music I wouldn't usually listen to) and I'm always enthralled with the range of her voice, her creativity and her lyrics.  "All The Row Boats" is no exception.  A somewhat somber tune about artifacts being locked up on display for generations to see, Regina uses the line "master pieces serving maximum sentences."  That's profound!  Enjoy the tune and also be sure to get your tickets for her show either in Chicago October 17th or in St. Louis November 8th.  Tickets go on sale tomorrow!
