  5:30PM 7:00PM Capital City Men's Chorus   The Capital City Men’s Chorus (TCCMC), directed by Mary E. Myers, is conducting a membership drive for the 2013 spring season. The Capital City Men’s Chorus is open to any male with a musical interest that is 18 years of age or older. Membership in the TCCMC is open to any musically qualified male who enjoys singing and is willing to give of their time and talents necessary to make each concert a source of pride for all members. This program is designed to foster biking, hiking, walking and running within the park. Please note the park will be barricaded to prevent vehicular traffic. Bike and hike days will take place every Sunday through Sept.

  10:00AM 5:00PM Sangamon Valley Woodcarvers Show   The Sangamon Valley Woodcarvers will present the artistry of woodcarving and woodburning at their 23nd annual show at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, 11th and Sangamon Avenue, Illinois Building. Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission $3 (12 and under free). Carvers from across the country will be exhibiting.
